This famous Parisian hotel has just come out of hibernation in the 8th district – it was enduring a 3-year renovation. Philippe Starck and Alexandre Allard rethought all the architecture and decorations of the high-end hotel – their goal was to achieve something unique, and boy did they succeed. The resulting redesign includes a warmer ambiance,  grey bedrooms with 40s and 50s furniture and art work. Guests can also enjoy the homy dining French dining room.

Instead of booking a room for a night, why not go for a whole apartment? For 2000 euros a night, you can stay at the Art Deco Place du Trocadera, facing the Eiffel Tower. There are 10 apartments total, ranging from 150 to 300 square meters each. What NOT to expect? Noisy reception halls and restaurants… yep, this is a truly romantic and private quintessential Paris experience.

There are plenty of things to see and do in Paris, but the Seine River (which crosses the city from East to West) is a MUST. So, why not just park yourself there for good? The Beateau Pytheas Vivas, an enchanting bed and breakfast, is located on a “Peniche” – or boat. For just 170 euros, you can enjoy a one-bedroom, one-bathroom accommodation! 10 minutes walking distance from the Champs Elysees, views of the Seine River, and affordability… now that’s what we call a good idea.

The contemporary Hotel Sezz hides behind the façade of a classic Parisian building, and more than accommodates those looking for a place to rest their head in Paris’ 16th district. A mere 26 bedrooms – designed by Christophe Pillet – welcome guests, and they feature surprising and elegant décor. The khaki grey stone walls (from Portugal), the flat screen TV that features a fire instead of a Hollywood movie, and plenty of room to roam…there’s something special about Hotel Sezz. To boot, it’s located near the Eiffel Tower!
