This famous Parisian hotel has just come out of hibernation in the 8th district – it was enduring a 3-year renovation. Philippe Starck and Alexandre Allard rethought all the architecture and decorations of the high-end hotel – their goal was to achieve something unique, and boy did they succeed. The resulting redesign includes a warmer ambiance,  grey bedrooms with 40s and 50s furniture and art work. Guests can also enjoy the homy dining French dining room.

Instead of booking a room for a night, why not go for a whole apartment? For 2000 euros a night, you can stay at the Art Deco Place du Trocadera, facing the Eiffel Tower. There are 10 apartments total, ranging from 150 to 300 square meters each. What NOT to expect? Noisy reception halls and restaurants… yep, this is a truly romantic and private quintessential Paris experience.
