The hottest thing to wear this winter is the Perfecto. The glittery and leather creation will turn you into Paris rock-and-roll royalty. The Bitton Brothers, via the Ito brand, put this number together and they’re masters of style… probably because they worked in the music industry before getting into fashion about 10 years ago. There is one major issue with the Perfecto, however – it’s currently sold out… keep a lookout, though!

Esperanza means “hope” in Spanish, and the artist with this name fits the bill well. A favorite of Obama, and adored by the Prince (who’s given her the spotlight at his concerts), it’s no wonder Esperanza won Best New Artist at the 2011 Grammy’s. And she is indeed THE artist of the year. While you wait on her Spring 2012 album, check her out on “Chamber Music Society.”
Eat & Drink
October 14th, 2011Headed to Paris’ Marais district? Then make sure to grab some lunch at the Café des Musées, located near the Picasso Museum. It’s your typical Parisian bistro, with foie gras and tartare, and delish French fries. If you feel like an afternoon pick-me-up, check out the tempting wine menu. This is definitely an address worth jotting down in your notepad!

October 14th, 2011Located in the heart of the Marais district, in the opulent Place des Vosges, sits a real Paris gem – le Pavillon de la Reine. Tucked away in a private courtyard of a 17th century home, you’ll feel a world away from action-packed Paris. The tasteful luxury of the bedrooms, especially the duplexes, and the cozy living room (complete with an inviting fireplace), will make you feel so at home, you’ll want to stay here forever. Refreshing and refined !
